How I Started Discovering The UK

You know how I started discovering the UK? It was just one day at a time. One day I skipped school and went straight to Victoria Coach Station. I walked up to one of the ticket windows (I didn’t use internet for my bus tickets then) and asked for one return to Cambridge. Why Cambridge? Because before going to the ticket office I went up to the timetable and saw that the very first bus leaving Victoria would be the 10am to Cambridge. As it was ten to ten, I went to find the gate, and boarded the already standing there National Express Coach. It was only a few years later when I discovered a cheaper version of travel and that was Megabus (many of my friends would hate me for saying “So I took Megabus yesterday”, they would be asking: “Why don’t you just say bus? It doesn’t make any sense!” Well, it does to me 😉 )

These days I use everything – trains, buses, cars, boats and ferries! Oh well, and planes, of course.

I do hope you will like my website and my blog, and all the things I have to say here, because I had lots of fun documenting everything and sometimes remembering my earliest travels to show you what you can do as well.

If you have any questions or comments, please, leave them here.
